Yea! She did it! My beautiful daughter did great!
Ankara performed in her first play last night. 8 weeks ago we signed her up for a program called KidStage. She was casted as Cheddar Jack the mouse. She had 13 speaking lines, which is good for a little kid that doesn't know how to fully read yet!Mommy was so excited, and terribly nervous! (In the first little bit of video you can tell I am excited, my hand is shaking a little while I hold the camera.)
Ankara was the only one that new all of her lines without prompting. Which is funny because she just kind of sat there, twiddling her thumbs, then said her lines, and went back to twiddling. People stopped by after and told her and us how cute she was, because she new all of her lines, plus she's just cute.
After she was off the stage and was suppose to be waiting quietly back stage, Shane spotted Ankara peeking from behind the black curtains. Then she'd swing it open smile and step back. Run to a different slit open and peek out. It was cute!

She had such a high afterward. She was giddy and excited all the way until she fell asleep! Ankara loves this stuff.

She is so adorable with the hand on hip action. :0) Your girls are going to grow up to be actress/dancers with all this early exposure. They are made for the stage. You must be very busy getting them to all of these different activities!
The ears worked out well. Did you make them.
I have no clue where they get all that dramatic desire from. Everyone I know in our family is so shy and quiet, right? :P
